ABOUT LESSONS
My goal with all my students is to help them achieve musical success, find joy in piano playing, and develop personal skills through disciplined practice that are applicable to all areas of life. My lesson style is unique to each student, as I work with their individual personalities, learning styles, and strengths and weaknesses. Through piano study, students develop technical and musical skills with knowledge and application of music theory, gain a greater understanding and appreciation of beauty, and learn the pursuit of excellence.
Weekly lessons are offered at 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on the age and level of the student. The curriculum may include repertoire, sight-reading, technique, theory, improvisation, music history, and other areas of interest to the student. School-age students have the opportunity to participate in studio recitals once or twice a year, along with optional festivals, competitions, and outreach performances.
I offer lessons in my home studio convenient to Greenville, Travelers Rest, Easley and Taylors, or can come to your home within a reasonable driving distance.
I have worked with and welcome students of any age and level, from kindergarten to retirees, beginners to advanced levels. Please contact me to schedule a free trial lesson. It is always a good time to start lessons!
